Why we make these

Some evenings are better with your hands busy and your phone in another room. That's where this started: a table, a lamp, a pile of pieces, and a few hours that belonged to you.

So we make the places we'd want to find. Sunsets that last a little longer than they should. City skylines just after dark. Mountain tops above the clouds, desert roads that don't end. Places you've always meant to visit, and a few you've only ever seen in dreams.

When the last piece goes in, you don't have to put it away. Glue it, frame it, hang it. Years later you'll look up at that wall and remember the evening you spent making it.
